Abstract:
Provided is a straddled vehicle which can be reduced in size and in which the speed at which a clutch is switched to an engaged state can be reduced, while power consumption is reduced. This straddled vehicle comprises an engine, a multi-stage transmission, a clutch, a driving wheel, a clutch motor, and a control device. The control device causes the clutch motor to output a force to relatively move, to a disconnection position, a driving unit and a driven unit by supplying power to the clutch motor through an electric terminal, and causes at least the electric terminal to be open or short-circuited in a stroke in which the driving unit and the driven unit are relatively moved from the disconnection position to the connection position.
