Abstract:
This control device (1) that controls a stepping motor (3) by switching between open control and servo control is provided with a control unit (11) that reduces the frequency of switching to servo control and, when performing control using open control to halt a needle of the stepping motor (3) at a target position, if the gap between the needle position and the target position becomes greater than a predetermined threshold, switches to servo control to halt the needle at the target position and then switches to open control, and determines a current to be supplied to the stepping motor (3) in open control on the basis of a current command value at the time the needle was halted at the target position by servo control.
