Abstract:
The present invention provides a steering device comprising an input shaft which is connected to a steering wheel and which extends in the axial direction, an output shaft which is engaged with the input shaft and which can move in the axial direction relative to the input shaft, a tubular upper column which is disposed on the outer radial side of the input shaft and which rotatably supports the input shaft, a tubular lower column which engages with the upper column and which can move in the axial direction relative to the upper column, a column bracket which has side plates positioned on the sides of the upper column and which is also detachable from a vehicle body, supporting members provided on the upper column, and a pin provided so as to extend in the radial direction and penetrate through the side plates and the supporting members. Each of the supporting members includes a through-hole that the pin passes through, a slot extending from the through-hole toward the steering wheel, and a stopper which is positioned between the through-hole and the slot and which supports the pin.
