Abstract:
A steel cable joint for cable-disk material conveyor has a structure, comprising: a left connection portion (1); a right connection portion (2); an inner engagement sleeve (3); and an outer fastener sleeve (4). The left connection portion (1) and the right connection portion (2) are axial members and have internal conical cavities for receiving a steel cable inserted thereinto. A small opening end of the internal conical cavity is a distal end of the left connection portion (1). A large opening end of the internal conical cavity is a front end of the left connection portion (1). An outer circumferential surface of the front end of the left connection portion is a curved surface. The inner engagement sleeve (3) consists of two or more inner engagement sleeve segments capable of being connected in an axial direction to form a cylindrical sleeve. A left end of the cylindrical sleeve after connection is sleeved onto the front end of the left connection portion (1). A right end of the cylindrical sleeve is sleeved onto a front end of the right connection portion (2). A middle portion of the cylindrical sleeve is left empty, such that there is a gap between a front end surface of the left connection portion (1) and a front end surface of the right connection portion (2). The left end of the cylindrical sleeve has a curved inner surface fitting the curved front end surface of the left connection portion (1). The right end of the cylindrical sleeve has a curved inner surface fitting a spherical front end surface of the right connection portion (2). The outer fastener sleeve (4) is fastened around the inner engagement sleeve (3) to axially limit a position of the inner engagement sleeve (3).
