Abstract:
Disclosed is a steam system that is provided with a heat pump and a boiler and is capable of accommodating variations in steam usage. In a heat pump (2), a compressor (4), a condenser (5), an expansion valve (6), and an evaporator (7) are sequentially connected in a circular arrangement, a coolant is circulated therethrough, and steam is generated by the exchange of heat between the coolant and water in the condenser (5). The steam from the condenser (5) is combined with the steam from the boiler (3). A pressure sensor (8) is disposed at a location where it is possible to detect the pressure of the steam obtained by combining the steam from the condenser (5) and the steam from the boiler (3). The compressor (4) and the boiler (3) are controlled on the basis of the pressure detected by the pressure sensor (8).
