Abstract:
In this steam generation device (1), a heat medium circulates continuously along a circulation route (33) from a heat medium tank (30), through a steam generator (31) and a sunlight collection device (2) in this order, and back to the heat medium tank (30). The sunlight collection device (2) uses collected sunlight to heat the heat medium. The steam generator (31) generates steam from a liquid by using the heat medium to heat the liquid. The steam generation device (1) is additionally provided with a bypass flow path (340) that connects a branching position between the heat medium tank (30) and the heat generator (31) in the circulation route (33) with a merging position (344) between the steam generator (31) and the sunlight collection device (2). The portion of the heat medium that has passed through the steam generator (31) is mixed with the portion of the heat medium that has passed through the bypass flow path (340) and the result is transmitted to the sunlight collection device (2). As a result, it is possible to generate steam in the steam generator (31) while increasing the temperature of a heat medium oil within the heat medium tank (30) and storing heat in a short amount of time when the amount of solar radiation is high.
