Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to solve the problem of driver apprehension due to the engine rotation speed tracing, which results from engine rotation speed tracing control, not generating changes that correspond to gear changes. The starting clutch control device is provided with a starting clutch control means for controlling the transmission torque capacity of the starting clutch so that the power source will have a desired rotation speed tracing in a low rotation speed range where control of starting clutch transmission torque capacity is necessary. When a gear change of the automatic transmission occurs during transmission torque capacity control, said starting clutch control means changes the transmission torque capacity of the starting clutch in the direction for generating a change in the rotation speed tracing that corresponds to said gear change.
