Abstract:
A staple formed rather softly of a material such as paper and a stapler suitable for the staple; the stapler (1), comprising a staple magazine (3) for storing the paper staple (101) coated with thermally soluble adhesive agent on the inside of the leg parts thereof, an upper lever (41) having a staple pressing plate (59) at the front tip thereof, and a base (71), wherein a pair of cutters (61, 63) are installed on both sides of the staple pressing plate, whereby holes are provided in a document by the cutters, the leg parts of the staple advance into the holes, the staple is held between the staple pressing plate and a staple support table and the leg parts are bent, and the adhesive agent is fused by the heat of a heating means inside the staple support table to bind the document.
