Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sprinkler coupling structure comprising: a reducing nipple configured to penetrate a through-hole formed in a ceiling panel and fabricated integrally with a flexible tube body, the upper side of which is connected to a water supply source such that fire-extinguishing water flows therein; a head coupled to the lower end of the reducing nipple so as to spray fire-extinguishing water supplied from the water supply source through the reducing nipple; a nipple fixing means for fixing/coupling the reducing nipple to the ceiling panel such that the height of protrusion of the head from the ceiling panel can be adjusted; and a head protecting mesh for protecting the head from below the ceiling panel. The head can be replaced while the reducing nipple and the flexible tube body are on the upper portion of the ceiling panel by separating the reducing nipple from an upper unit, without having to separate the reducing nipple and the flexible tube body, thereby preventing leakage of fire-extinguishing water from the reducing nipple into the inner space in which the sprinkler is installed. A nipple fixing means for fixing/coupling the reducing nipple to the ceiling panel is provided such that the height of protrusion of the reducing nipple from the ceiling panel can be adjusted. Accordingly, if the ceiling panel is thick, the position of the adjustment member of the nipple fixing means is adjusted such that the head coupled to the lower end of the reducing nipple can protrude further downwards from the through-hole of the ceiling panel. Therefore, the through-hole of the ceiling panel does not interfere with release of fire-extinguishing water, which is then released evenly.
