Abstract:
Provided is a spring used for a suspension device for a vehicle. This spring is provided with: a spring section configured from a coil-shaped wire material; and a seat section which is in contact with an end winding of the spring section, is formed from an elastically deformable material, and is subjected to a load acting on the spring section. If a direction perpendicular to the direction of the load acting on the spring section is designated as a width direction, at least part of the seat section is provided with a movable region support section, the dimension of which in the width direction is less than or equal to a predetermined number of times the diameter of the wire material.
