Abstract:

A spring (11b) which, for use in a one-way clutch, can suppress skewing of rollers and can restrain to a low level the stress generated on the basis of flexure of elastic pressing units (23b1, 23b2). This spring (11b) is configured from: a base unit (22b) which comprises a flat plate-shape base plate (25) and is formed by subjecting the elastic metal plate to a bending process; a pair of elastic pressing units (23b1, 23b2) which are formed by bending to an acute angle the two ends in the length direction of the base plate (25) towards the one side in the thickness direction of the base plate (25); and a pair of bent sections (24a) which are located on the portions connecting the elastic pressing units (23b1, 23b2) and the base plate (25). In particular, the elastic pressing units (23b1, 23b2) intersect each other at the middle portion in the length direction thereof.
