Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a lock drum (11) provided to either one of a first member (20) or a second member (30); a coil spring (12) secured to the other of said members, the coil spring (12) coming into contact with the lock drum (11) and locking the turning of the second member (30) in one direction relative to the first member (20) by a frictional force; and a switching mechanism that turns the second member (30) relative to the first member (20) to switch between a locked state and an unlocked and held state. The coil spring (12) comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the lock drum (11), and a spring wire of the coil spring (12) is longitudinally compressed by the turning of the second member (30), whereby the coil spring (12) expands in diameter and further presses against the inner peripheral surface of the lock drum (11), and turning is locked by the frictional force thereof. In the switching mechanism, there is an accompanying action of increasing or reducing the length of the coil spring (12) in the unlocked state relative to the length of the coil spring (12) in the locked state.
