Abstract:
The present invention relates to a speed reducer using a planet gear, and a speed reducer in which a carrier including a carrier base, a first cover, and a second cover is provided with a differential gear. The speed reducer according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a carrier accommodating a planet gear; an input shaft that is provided on one side of the carrier, receives power from a motor, and has gear teeth formed on the outer side thereof; a planet gear part that receives the power from the input shaft; a differential gear part that receives the power from the planet gear part; and an output part that passes through the carrier, has gear teeth formed on the other side thereof, and includes a first output shaft and a second output shaft that receive the power from the differential gear part. The carrier may include: a carrier base having a certain space formed therein; a first cover which is coupled to one side of the carrier base and through which the input shaft and the first output shaft pass; and a second cover which is coupled to the other side of the carrier base and through which the second output shaft passes.
