Abstract:
Provided is a power transmission mechanism having contradictory functions that can reduce backlash and that can ensure back-drivability even with a high speed reduction ratio. The power transmission mechanism according to the present invention comprises: an input shaft member 120 having a substantially cylindrical shape and coupled to an input shaft that is rotatably supported; a precession member 140 which performs a precession movement in accordance with the rotation of the input shaft member and which has a tilt holding means 150 for providing tiltable hold with respect to the axial center of the input shaft; a rolling member 180 disposed on a peripheral surface of the precession member 140; and an output shaft member 160 coupled to an output shaft and having a peripheral surface in which a wavy groove WG1 is formed, the wavy groove WG1 having a predetermined cycle, the rolling member 180 engaging with the wavy groove WG1.
