Abstract:
A speed-increasing gear (1) has an input shaft (2) and an output shaft (3) that are vertically arranged in parallel with each other, and an input-side gear (4) and an output-side gear (5) that are respectively provided to these shafts are engaged with each other. The input shaft (2) is rotatably supported in a housing (11) by upper and lower bearings (6, 7), and the output shaft (3) is rotatably supported in the housing (11) by upper and lower bearings (8, 9). Bearing lids (12, 13) for covering the lower ends of the lower bearings (7, 9) together with the lower ends of the input shaft (2) and the output shaft (3), are attached to the lower surface of the housing (11). The upper bearings (6, 8) and the lower bearings (7, 9) are conical roller bearings which are combined with each other at the fronts. A communication hole (16) for connecting space (15) in the bearing lids with space (14) in the housing, is provided to the lower wall (11b) of the housing (11).
