Abstract:

A speed change transmission device capable of smoothly and continuously varying an engine drive force by utilizing a continuously variable transmission, a plurality of planetary transmission mechanisms, and a plurality of clutches irrespective of a centrifugal force generated at the clutches. An output from the continuously variable transmission (30) and the drive force from an engine (3) are synthesized with each other by a planetary transmission part (P), and a drive force from the planetary transmission part (P) is transmitted to an output shaft (61) through a clutch part (C). The first, second, third, and fourth clutches (73, 74, 76, 78) of the clutch part (C) are formed to be switchable between an engaged state and a disengaged state by engaging and disengaging the clutch members (75, 77) with and from output side rotating members (73b, 74b, 76b, 78b).
