Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent oil spattered up by a gear power transmission mechanism from splashing on a chain power transmission mechanism. [Solution] A speed change device comprises: a case storing oil; a gear power transmission mechanism that is supported in the case, and operates in a state in which the gear power transmission mechanism is partly immersed in the oil stored in the case; a chain power transmission mechanism supported in the case; and a speed change mechanism supported in the case. The case has a rib that covers the chain power transmission mechanism on the upper side in the vertical direction of the chain power transmission mechanism. The rib has an oil passage therein for supplying the oil to the speed change mechanism.
