Abstract:
This speed-change control method for electric vehicle includes a clutch cancellation step (S2), a synchronization step (S3), and clutch engaging steps (S4, S5). The synchronization step (S3), performed after the clutch cancellation step (S2), includes a first cancellation determination step of determining, after the elapse of a certain time following the start of an electric motor synchronization operation, whether the engagement of a roller clutch for a current speed-change stage is cancelled, and a second cancellation determination step of determining, if it is determined by the first cancellation determination step that the engagement of the roller clutch for at least the current speed-change stage is not cancelled, whether the engagement of the roller clutch for the current speed-change stage is cancelled after the elapse of a further certain time.
