Abstract:
A sowing machine for a nursery box having an easily assembled and mounted drive assist rail is provided. In this sowing machine for a nursery box, a bed soil supply device, for inserting bed soil into the nursery box, an irrigation device, for irrigating from above the bed soil after passage through the bed soil supply device, a sowing device, for sowing a prescribed amount of rice seed on the bed soil after passage through the irrigation device, and a cover soil supply device, for dropping a prescribed amount of cover soil from above after passage through the sowing device, are arranged on a transport drive rail, and a drive assist rail is connected consecutively to the drive rail. In a state in which the assist rail is connected consecutively to the drive rail, a power transmission unit that transmits rotational power from the drive rail to the drive assist rail has a configuration enabling meshing between a drive-side gear provided on the drive rail side and a following-side gear provided on the drive assist rail side.
