Abstract:
A virtual sound source position determination unit (122) determines, on the basis of a detected motion of a user (31), the position of a virtual sound source from which sound represented by a sound signal is outputted. A sound signal processing unit (123) subjects the sound signal to stereophonic processing based on the determined position of the virtual sound source. The sound signal processing unit (123) reproduces the sound signal subjected to the stereophonic processing. Consequently, the sound signal is reproduced such that sound suitable for the motion of the user is outputted.
