Abstract:
A jacket suitable for making cable harnesses or other thin and elongated structures pass through a panel separating two chambers. The jacket reduces noise transferred from one chamber to the other chamber and prevents water and other pollutants from passing through. The jacket comprises a hollow main body, the hollow main body having a first front opening, a rear opening, and a central channel vertically extending in the hollow main body to pass through same. The jacket further comprises an annular body surrounding part of the main body, the annular body being spaced apart from the main body and integrally combined to the main body. The annular body has a cylindrical central part, and a front flange part and a rear flange part that provide a sound chamber. The jacket further comprises an annular sound member, the annular sound member being manufactured using a foaming material having holes, and being provided in the central part of the annular body and surrounding part of the main body.
