Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a sound-generating device capable of accurately eliminating an atmospheric pressure difference between a sound generation space and a neighboring space which are demarcated so as to sandwich a vibrating plate therebetween inside a case. [Solution] A vibrating plate 11 and a vibration support sheet 12 which constitute a vibrating body 10 are mounted to a vibrating body attachment surface 5b of a frame 5. A sound generation space (i) above the vibrating plate 11 is connected to a sound generation channel 41a of a sound generation nozzle 41 via a sound generation port 4d, and a neighboring space (ii) below the vibrating plate 11 is connected to the sound generation channel 41a via a ventilation hole 7. Consequently, even if a large change in atmospheric pressure occurs inside the sound generation channel 41a, it is possible to prevent a large atmospheric pressure difference from being generated between the sound generation space (i) and the neighboring space (ii).
