Abstract:
A solar thermal power generation system and a method for controlling the solar thermal power generation system are provided such that durability can be improved by suppressing an increase in the exhaust temperature of a low-pressure turbine, and highly efficient power generation can be also achieved. When the solar thermal power generation system 100, wherein molten salt is supplied respectively to a superheater 32 and a reheater 34, and electric power is generated by a high-pressure turbine 36 and a low-pressure turbine 38, is in a low-load operation state in which the load is equal to or lower than a predetermined ratio, the temperature of reheated steam supplied to the low-pressure turbine 38 is detected, and the amount Mr of the molten salt to be supplied to the reheater 34 is controlled such that the temperature of the reheated steam becomes 450˚C or lower.
