A smart mattress-based patient monitoring device according to an embodiment comprises: at least one processor; and a memory that stores at least one program executed by the at least one processor. The processor: generates a monitoring signal for each of one or more bed-ridden patients on the basis of a biological signal measured from each of the one or more bed-ridden patients and a pressure signal output by each of smart mattresses corresponding to the one or more bed-ridden patients; and displays the monitoring signal for each of the bed-ridden patients on each slot corresponding to each of the bed-ridden patients on the screen of each display included in each of the smart mattress, wherein the monitoring signal includes the posture of the patient.
