Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a slurry composition for nonaqueous secondary battery positive electrodes, the slurry composition having excellent dispersibility and enabling a positive electrode mixture layer to exhibit excellent adhesion and excellent water draining properties. A slurry composition for nonaqueous secondary battery positive electrodes according to the present invention is characterized by containing: carbon coating layer-covered olivine-type lithium iron phosphate particles, each of which is obtained by covering at least a part of the surface of an olivine-type lithium iron phosphate particle with a carbon coating layer; and a polymer X which contains 3% by mass to 40% by mass of an acidic group-containing monomer unit. This slurry composition for nonaqueous secondary battery positive electrodes is also characterized in that the content of weak acidic groups on the surfaces of the carbon coating layer-covered olivine-type lithium iron phosphate particles is 5 µmol/g to 15 µmol/g.
