Abstract:
The slot-coupling type coupler (10) connects a high-frequency circuit (91) to a waveguide tube (50). The slot-coupling type coupler (10) includes a substrate (11), at least a part of the substrate (11) being inserted into the waveguide tube (50), and a conductor patch (12E) provided on the substrate (11) for emitting high-frequency waves from the high-frequency circuit (91) into the waveguide tube (50) and comprising a complementary metamaterial cell (12M) including one or more conductor portions (12MB) forming the one or more gaps (12MA) that a conductor is excluded. According to the above configuration, the transmission loss in the high-frequency band is reduced.
