Title:
SLIDING-TYPE CONSTANT VELOCITY UNIVERSAL JOINT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/243319
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A sliding-type constant velocity universal joint 1 comprises: an outer joint member 2 having a plurality of linear track grooves 7 formed therein; an inner joint member 3 having a plurality of linear track grooves 9 formed therein; a plurality of torque transmission balls 4; and a cage 5 for storing each torque transmission ball 4 in a pocket 5a, wherein the center of curvature O1, Oc1 of a spherical outer peripheral surface 11 of the cage 5 and the center of curvature O2, Oc2 of a spherical inner peripheral surface 12 are offset to the opposite side in the axial direction with respect to a joint center O. The sliding-type constant velocity universal joint 1 is characterized in that a range of from 10 mm on a depth side to 10 mm on an opening side with respect to a center C of a slide range in a joint axis direction of the track groove 7 of the outer joint member 2 is defined as a central range W, a portion 7a at which a pitch circle diameter (PCD) of the track groove 7 of the outer joint member 2 is smallest is formed in the central range W, the minimum value of a PCD clearance Δ of the track grooves 7, 9 in the central range W is set to from 0.010 mm to 0.100 mm, and a mutual error of PCD of the track groove 7 of the outer joint member 2 in the central range W is not greater than 0.150 mm.
