Abstract:
A sliding member according to the present invention slides against a counterpart body, and is configured from a resin composition containing: a crystalline resin; inorganic spherical particles having a Mohs hardness of 5 or more; and an organic filler including at least one among an aramid filler and a liquid crystal polymer filler, wherein, in the resin composition, the amount of the inorganic spherical particles is 1-20 mass% and the amount of the organic filler is 1-20 mass%. The volume average particle diameter of the inorganic spherical particles is preferably 2-10 μm. Also, it is preferable that the resin composition contain at least one lubricant among an olefin resin-based lubricant and a fluororesin-based lubricant.
