Abstract:
Provided are: a sliding member for conveyance devices which has excellent wear resistance and can have an unusual cross-sectional shape by molding; and a resin composition. The sliding member for conveyance devices is formed from a resin composition including (A) a polyacetal resin. When a multipurpose test piece type A1 according to JIS K7139 formed from the resin composition is slid reciprocatingly on an S45C pin 40,000 times under the conditions of a travel speed of 6,000 mm/min, a load of 500 g, and a one-way travel distance of 20 mm, then the resultant wear groove has a cross-sectional area of 1,000 μm2 or less. The polyacetal resin has a melt volume flow rate, as determined in accordance with JIS K7210-1, of 1.0-5.0 cm3/10 min.
