Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a slide nut which has a sliding surface made of synthetic resin and which prevents ingress of foreign matter into the sliding surface; and a sliding screw device using said slide nut. In a sliding screw device, a slide nut 3 is configured to make relative sliding movement on a screw shaft along with the rotation of the screw shaft. The sliding surface against the screw shaft comprises a first sliding surface 4a composed of a first synthetic resin and a second sliding surface 5a composed of a second synthetic resin having a linear expansion coefficient greater than that of the first synthetic resin. The second sliding surface 5a is formed at one axial end and/or the other axial end of the sliding nut 3.
