Abstract:
A slide bearing (1) is cylindrically formed by abutting abutment surfaces (11A, 12A) of a pair of half bearings (11, 12). Two foreign substance discharge grooves (5, 5'), which are inclined with respect to the axial direction of the slide bearing (1), are formed in a slide surface (3) adjacent to the inner peripheral edge (4) of the abutment surfaces (11A, 12A).
When lubricant is supplied to the slide surface (3), a foreign substance (6), which has infiltrated the lubricant, is collected by the foreign substance discharge grooves (5, 5') and, then, is discharged toward the outside of the slide bearing (1) through end portions (5A, 5B(5A', 5B')) which are open at end surfaces (7, 8). Thus, a slide bearing (1) which can satisfactorily discharge foreign substances can be provided.
