Abstract:

[PROBLEMS] To provide a skew contact double ball bearing and a pre-load adding method for the ball bearing capable of easily adding the pre-load by performing adjustment for adding the pre-load in a wide adjustment range. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In this skew contact double ball bearing, clearances between balls (18) and raceways (11b) and (13b) on one row are differentiated from clearances between balls (17) and raceways (11a) and (13a) on the other row to apply a thrust load to inner and outer rings (11) and (13) so as to add the pre-load to the inner and outer rings.
