Abstract:
A sintered oil-impregnated bearing (8) has a bearing surface (8a1) that forms a radial bearing gap with a shaft member (2). The bearing surface (8a1) has a plurality of pores. The pores that have a pore volume of greater than 0.0005 mm3 are considered to be large pores (40), and there are no large pores (40) from the bearing surface (8a1) to a depth of 50 μm.
