Abstract:
A sintered metal connecting rod 10 has, as an integrated body, a large-end part 11, a small-end part 12, and a stem part 13. In this sintered metal connecting rod 10, molding die division marks 14a, 14b from compression molding are formed between the large-end part 11 and the stem part 13 and between the small-end part 12 and the stem part 13 on front or back surfaces 11c-13c in which through holes 11a, 12a are formed, and the difference in density between the large-end part 11 and the stem part 13 and the difference in density between the small-end part 12 and the stem part 13 are each 4% or less.
