Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to establish both assurance of processing capacity by a shredding mechanism with a simple control scheme in the shredding of sheet shaped material and shredding load control.
A solution to the above problem is a control device (10) having a first control unit (11) for, under conditions where the simultaneous shredding load for sheet shaped material (1) is equal to or lower than a threshold value, which is less than a predetermined maximum permissible value, controlling the rotational speed of a drive source (6) to a predetermined first velocity (v1) such that the electric power supplied by the control device (10) when the simultaneous shredding load for the sheet shaped material (1) is the threshold value is held within the permissible electric power limits, and a second control unit (12) for, under conditions where the simultaneous shredding load for the sheet shaped material (1) exceeds the threshold value, switching control of the rotational speed of a drive source (4) to a second velocity (v2), which is a lower velocity than the first velocity (v1), in place of the velocity controlled by the first control such that the electric power supplied by the control unit (10) when the simultaneous maximum load for the sheet shaped material (1) is the maximum permissible value is held within the permissible electric power limits.
