A shock absorbing structure suitable for a branch pruning mechanical device, comprising a shock absorbing rod and a sleeve (6). The upper and lower ends of the shock absorbing rod are each provided with a lock joint (1). The shock absorbing rod consists of three parts which are respectively an upper rod body (2), a shock absorbing spring (9), and a lower rod body (8). The upper rod body (2) is inserted inside the top end of the sleeve (6); the lower rod body (8) is inserted into the bottom end of the sleeve (6); the shock absorbing spring (9) is located inside the sleeve (6), and is fixedly connected to the upper rod body (2) and the lower rod body (8) respectively; the two sides of each of the upper rod body (2) and the lower rod body (8) are respectively provided with connecting protruding pipes (3), and detachable connecting rods (7) are provided between every two connecting protruding pipes (3) vertically corresponding to each other; the detachable connecting rods (7) are connected to the connecting protruding pipes (3) by means of threaded rods (4); moving blocks (5) are provided on the inner sides of the connecting rods (7); and the moving blocks (5) are vertically and slidably connected to the outer wall of the sleeve (6).
