Abstract:
Provided is a shock-absorbing member that can absorb energy during impact in a smaller space. A shock-absorbing member 10 comprises a plate member 12 having a bent part 12a and a plurality of plate parts 12b linked via the bent part 12a, and a restraining member 14 that restrains the plurality of plate parts 12b, the plurality of plate parts 12b overlapping in a state of being folded in a first direction in the bent part 12a, the restraining member 14 restraining the overlapping plurality of plate parts 12b from both sides in a second direction, the first direction being a direction connecting one end part 12c of two end parts 12c of the plate member 12 and the bent part 12a adjacent to the plate part where said end part 12c is positioned, and the second direction being orthogonal to the first direction.
