Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a first channel which is disposed in a piston and through which a working fluid moves from a chamber on an upstream side within a cylinder to a chamber on a downstream side due to movement of the piston; a first damping force generation mechanism that is provided in the first channel and generates damping force; a second channel (141) that is disposed in a piston rod (21); a fixed member that is fixed to the piston rod (21) to form the second channel (141); and a second damping force generation mechanism that is disposed in the second channel (141) and generates damping force. A throttle member (161): is provided in the second damping force generation mechanism; has a plurality of notch sections (171) at roughly equal intervals in the circumferential direction, the notch sections (171) forming a throttle channel (76) in the second channel; and is formed so that the channel area of the throttle channel (76) is constant at any attachment position in the circumferential direction.
