Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a lubricant additive, a method for adjusting the friction characteristics of a shock absorber lubricant composition, and a shock absorber lubricant composition whereby it is possible to balance operation stability and ride comfort. [Solution] A shock absorber lubricant composition characterized by containing a base oil and a friction modifier, wherein the friction modifier contains pentaerythritol ester, and the base oil has an ester oil as a main component.
