Abstract:
A shift range control device (40) is provided with an encoder count unit (51), an energization control unit (52), a learning unit (53), an energization phase count unit (54), and an anomaly determination unit (55). The encoder count unit (51) calculates an encoder count value on the basis of an encoder signal. The energization control unit (52) controls the energization of a motor (10). The learning unit (53) learns a wall position, which is an encoder count value when an engaging member (26) comes into contact with wall parts (231, 214). The energization phase count unit (54) calculates an energization phase count value counted in accordance with the switching of an energization phase. The anomaly determination unit (55) determines anomalies in an encoder (13) on the basis of the energization phase count value and the encoder count value before and after the wall position has been learned.
