Abstract:
Provided are a shaft structure for a vertical shaft and a wind power generation device with which the load on a bearing can be reduced even when upward force is generated. A vertical shaft (30) is equipped with: a first vertical shaft section (31) that rotates axially while receiving a load from a windmill (20); a levitation section (34) that causes the first vertical shaft section (31) to levitate by means of magnetic force; a relay shaft section (33) having an outer tube part (331) that operates in conjunction with the first vertical shaft section (31), and a spline shaft section (332) that slides in the up/down directions relative to the outer tube part (331); and a second vertical shaft section (32) coupled to the spline shaft section (332) and secured in the up/down directions by a bearing (35) so as to be able to rotate freely. Even if buoyancy is generated in the windmill (20) under the force of wind the first vertical shaft section (31) coupled to the outer tube part (331) is able to rise with respect to the spline shaft section (332), so a change in the position of the second vertical shaft section (32) can be suppressed. Accordingly, the load on the bearing (35) can be reduced.
