Title:
SELF-LOCKING NUT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/009004
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a self-locking nut which is prevented from loosening in a coupled state by more firmly coupling and fixing a spiral section and a female screw by forcibly screw-coupling the spiral section and female screw. Specifically, in order to prevent the permeation of damage factors (for example, water, rain, snow, wind or the like) into the nut via a portion, which is pressed and deformed, so as to increase durability life and prevent loosening due to the oxidation of the female screw and to improve stability in a general nut which is formed with a female screw (2) on the inner peripheral surface (1) thereof, the self-locking nut comprises a deformation groove (4) to be forcedly screw-coupled, wherein a groove is compressed in the outward direction from the inside surface of the inner peripheral surface (1) such that the groove is deformed and the width of the groove decreases, thereby reducing a distance between the female screw and the groove.
