Abstract:
Provided is a sealing device that can maintain sealing performance even if there is positional deviation in a thrust direction. A sealing device (1) is for achieving a seal between an outer circumference-side member and an inner circumference-side member which are capable of relative rotation, and comprises an outside seal member (2) that is attached to the outer circumference-side member, and an inside seal member (3) that is attached to the inner circumference-side member. The outside seal member (2) has an annular member (23) that has an inside tubular section (231) extending along the axial (x) direction, and a seal lip section (221) that is in sliding contact with the inside seal member (3) further to an interior space side than the annular member (23). The inside seal member (3) has an inside contact section (321) that has a plurality of protrusions (321A) and is in sliding contact with the inside tubular section (231). The length (L3) of the region in which the plurality of protrusions (321A) of the inside contact section (321) are formed is greater than the smallest interval (L2) between facing sections (10, 20) of the outside seal member (2) and the inside seal member (3).
