Abstract:
Provided are a sealing device and a sealing structure that improve the suppression of the intrusion of foreign matter such as muddy water. An elastic sealing part 122 is characterized by comprising a main lip 122a, a side lip 122c, and an intermediate lip 122b, wherein a second ring-shaped recess 122g formed so as to extend along the outer-peripheral surface of the side lip 122c has a deeper recess toward the sealing target space side and in the direction of the center axis of an inner ring than does a first ring-shaped recess 122f formed between the side lip 122c and the intermediate lip 122b.
