Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a non-contact sealing device capable of being attached with high precision without using a tool dedicated for determining positions while determining the position of the sealing device; and a linear guide device which is provided with said sealing device, hardly produces dust, and can remain in operation. With the sealing device of the present invention, it is possible to determine the position of an end seal (5) in the up-down and right-left directions by means of a position determining member (16) when attaching the end seal (5) to a slider (2). As a consequence, it is possible to attach the end seal (5) to the slider (2) by determining the position of the end seal (5) in relation to the outer surface of a guide rail (1) without using a tool dedicated for determining positions. Moreover, the length of the protrusion of the position determining member (16) is the same as the distance of a gap formed between the guide rail (1) and the end seal (5). As a consequence, it is possible to attach the end seal (5) to the slider (2) such that the gap between the guide rail (1) and the end seal (5) becomes the same as a predetermined distance without using a tool dedicated for determining positions.
