The present invention provides a sealing device that can suppress a leak of a filler material (8) from a gap (10) between a fixed member (4) and a rotating member (5). A sealing device (1) comprises: an annular rotating member (5) that is fixed around a rotating shaft (2); an annular fixed member (4) facing the rotating member across a gap (10) that runs from the inner circumferential side on which the rotating shaft (2) is provided to the opposite outer circumferential side; and a filler material (8) that is filled in an area which is of the gap (10) and is other than an inner circumferential side area or an outer circumferential side area so as to be filled between the fixed member (4) and the rotating member (5). One of the fixed member (4) and the rotating member (5) has a recess formed along a circumferential direction in an opposing surface opposing the other one thereof and the other one thereof has a protrusion formed along the circumferential direction in an opposing surface opposing the one thereof at a position opposing the recess such that a labyrinth portion, which is a meandering gap, is formed.
