Abstract:
Provided are a sealing device for a bearing device for a wheel and a bearing device for a wheel provided with the same which are capable of preventing sealing devices from adhering to each other when stacked on each other in a two-lip seal sealing device to be used for a bearing device for a wheel. A sealing device 5 for a bearing device 1 for a wheel is used for sealing an annular space S defined between an outer member 2 and an inward member 3 of the bearing device 1 for a wheel, and comprises: a core 51 inserted and fitted into an edge-part inner-diameter surface 2a of the outer member 2; and an elastic member 52 inserted and fitted to the core 51. The elastic member 52 has: a first lip 52a and a second lip 52b which are brought into slidable contact with an edge-part outer-diameter surface 3a of the inward member 3 on the inner diameter side of the elastic member 52; and a circumferential surface 52c provided on the outer diameter side of the elastic member 52 so as to face outward in the axial direction of the bearing device 1 for a wheel. The circumferential surface 52c is provided with a protruding portion 52d protruding outward in the axial direction of the bearing device 1 for a wheel.
