Abstract:
A combination of a screw driver bit (10) and a screw (20). In the screwdriver bit (10), radial outer peripheral edges (14a) of a cross edge section (14) and the tilt angle of the outer peripheral edges (14a) are configured so that a tip edge section (12) of the screwdriver bit joins in a wedged manner to outer peripheral edges (23a) of the opening of a cross groove section of a bit fitting groove (22) in the screw. In the screw (20), the dimension of an opening (23) in a screw head is set slightly larger than a dimension (M) in accordance with a JIS standard, the cross groove section extends at a predetermined tilt angle from the opening of the cross groove section to the bottom thereof having a predetermined depth, and tapered inner peripheral surfaces (25) converging stepwise to a dimension (G) in accordance with the JIS standard are formed at portions on the bottom side of tilted inner peripheral surfaces (24a) of the cross groove section (24).
