Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a screw fastening structure for preventing, even in a heat environment, loosening of a fastening body or a fastened body that are formed of a thermoplastic resin, the screw fastening structure also enabling reduction in weight. [Solution] A screw fastening structure comprises: a fastening body (20) with a bottomed hole (21) drilled therein; a fastened body (30) with a through-hole (31) drilled therein; and a tapping screw (10) comprising a head portion (11) and a screw shaft portion (12), the screw shaft portion (12) of the tapping screw (10) being inserted through the bottomed hole (21) in the fastening body (20) and the through-hole (31) in the fastened body (30) and being screwed in both the bottomed hole (21) and the through-hole (31) so as to fix the fastened body (30) to the fastening body (20), in which an overall length (T1) of a small-diameter screw portion (13) is larger than a thickness (t2) of the fastened body, and an overall length (T2) of a large-diameter screw portion (14) is smaller than the thickness (t2) of the fastened body.
