Abstract:
 Provided is a rotation transmission device in which little interference noise is generated between an armature and a rotor, and in which the action in which the armature is held to the rotor is stabilized. A shock-absorbing member (50) is provided between the armature (30) and the rotor (31). The shock-absorbing member (50) comprises a metal ring (51) supported by the armature (30) so as to be capable of moving in the axial direction, and a rubber ring (52) that is compressed in the axial direction between the armature (30) and the metal ring (51) as the armature (30) approaches the rotor (31). The rubber ring (52) has a shape in which the axial-direction thickness varies along the circumferential direction so as to be compressed to a greater extent in the circumferentially long region when the compression amount in the axial direction is high than when the compression amount in the axial direction is low.
